[SOLVED} Audio or Volume Indicator Missing from Panel

Using Debian 12 stable.  Above-referenced indicator disappeared recently.  If anyone knows how to get it back I would appreciate it.

Re: [SOLVED} Audio or Volume Indicator Missing from Panel

Is the pulseaudio plugin added to the panel? Right-click the panel, select Panel Preferences and then look at the Items tab.

There is no pulseaudio-plugin option visible under items in the panel.

Click the "Add" button and add it. Or is it not available in the add list either?

If not, look to see if the "xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin" package is installed.

xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin was not installed (for some unknown reason),  I installed it and it appeared as an option to add into the panel.  All works now.  Thanks very much.
