I believe there was a recent change that involves how it works maybe, perhaps a library or a permissions issue? The code hasn't changed (according to the changelog at https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … aster/NEWS ) in a while.
I used to have a set list of timers I could choose from. They all disappeared recently, and after I re-make the timers if I reboot, I lose the list and have to remake them all again.
What's going on? Any ideas how I can find out?
I have two xfce4-timer related .rc files in ~/.config/xfce4/panel/ but neither seems to be being used by the plugin anymore.
I've removed them, deleted the plugin from the panel and re-added the plugin to the panel. Created a single timer - no .rc file is created in the /panel/ directory.
I cannot seem to find any other xfce4-timer related config file anywhere else.
Love xfce and am only hoping to regain this tool - my ADHD requires it... 😁
EDIT: I found this, but it only started happening in the last few weeks for me...
