How to make docklike plugin show app icon instead of generic icon

Hello to everyone.
I would like to know how to make docklike-plugin to show own application icon instead of generic "Files" (folder) icon.

If using two file managers, such as thunar and nautilus (running or pinned), docklike-plugin show the same icon for both of them. I would like it to show their own specific icon for each application, if that was possible so i can tell which is which.

In whisker menu, each app show its own icon. I would like that same icon to be shown in docklike plugin.

Thank you and have a good day.

System:
Mx-Linux 23 (Debian 12 base)
Xfce 4.18.1

First make sure you're using the latest version 0.4.2, then see https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … note_84765 to deal with apps that still aren't recognized correctly.

I was using 0.4.1
I upgraded to 0.4.2 and that solves the problem for my case (thunar and nautilus).

UPDATE: But 0.4.2 does not work for Thunderbird...(it shows a generic screw icon) So, well, there's a trade off

Thank you very much for the info, Tamaranch.
