Custom Actions to add a new metadata column in Thunar

Hi!

In Thunar, is there a possibility via a custom action to add a new column to the metadata columns in the detailed view?

Hello and welcome.

What are you referring to when you say "metadata columns? The  columns display in the view that show name, filesize, etc?

If so, no, you can't add new ones using custom actions, but you can manage which of the existing ones are displayed (there is a menu option for this - View > Configure Columns).
