Thunar - it takes at least 5 seconds until file listing is updated

I added a single file to the circled zip archive.

It disappeared from the listing for about 5 seconds.

I then cycled "size" since the zip is the largest file in the directory in order for it to show up first.

It finally  reappeared.

apt-get purge thunar
  253  11/23/2022 05:52:01 AM sudo apt-get purge thunar
  254  11/23/2022 05:52:20 AM thunar
  255  11/23/2022 05:52:25 AM sudo apt install thunar
None of the above helped.

What is going on?

I am using Ubuntu Mate 20.04.

After a logout and log back it is working for now. :-)
