Where does XFCE store the user settings?

Hi,

I am trying to create a distro spin of MX Linux. For that, I need to know where the following settings are saved for XFCE:

1) Appearance settings such as theme, icons etc.

2) Window Manager > Keyboard shortcuts

3) Keyboard > application shortcuts

The idea is to have it configured and then saved in the etc/skel/ folder, and then copy it to new accounts when they are created, so they get the same initial settings.

Thanks!

Re: Where does XFCE store the user settings?

For the most part they are stored in memory using xfconf and written disk at ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml. It might also be useful to have take a closer look at the MX distro to see how they manage default settings and replicate that setup with your custom changes (see: http://mxrepo.com/mx/repo/pool/main/d/d … s-mx-xfce/).
