Tab titles use the words "Page", and "Notes" and back to "Page" with duplicate numbers. How can I correct this? I would be happy with either one that's consistent.

You can right-click the icon in the top-left corner and rename or delete the tab titles.

Thanks as always. I have been doing that and checking them in /home/ineuw/.local/share/notes/Notes. Where does the word "Page" originate?

Must be hard-coded. As far as I can tell, "Note" refers to an instance of the stickie and "page" refers to tabs on the sticky. I think.

Thanks, much appreciated. I am more interested in understanding the reason, than a solution.

Which version of the plugin are you using? The .po files suggest there isn't any string "Page": https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … r/po/ar.po

I was only able to install it from the Linux Mint repository (xfce4-notes version 1.9.0). I didn't care because these minor issues are greatly outweighed by its utility. The truth is I gave up trying to install from tar balls.
