Resizing Applications menu items

I'd like to change the size of my Applications menu items. Is this at all possible?
I know adding

menuitem label {min-height: 24px;}

to ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css changes the minimal size of menu items, but it applies to all menus, which is not what I want.

Re: Resizing Applications menu items

It doesn't appear that you can directly address those menu entries with CSS - it appears, as you have found out, that it only respects the generic "menuitem" system directives.

What about using another menu system like whiskermenu?

BTW, welcome to the forums.
