When you try to make the panel transparent it makes the entire panel transparent along with the icons and the fonts, whereas the background only should be made transparent while the icons and the fonts should stay the same, at least that is the case with other desktop environment, such as lxde and lxqt. One more thing , it would be great if you add panel item that enable you change numlock and uppercase status like lxqt and trinity de .Thanks.

Hello and welcome.

What version of Xfce are you using? If it is GTK3 based (4.14. or 4.16) then the process to create a transparent panel has changed. It sounds like you are changing the enter/leave opacity levels - which are a different thing.
One more thing , it would be great if you add panel item that enable you change numlock and uppercase status like lxqt and trinity de .Thanks.
You could create 3 launchers that run the following commands (requires the xdotool package):
xdotool key Num_Lock
xdotool key Caps_Lock
xdotool key Scroll_Lock
...and click on them to toggle the state of those keys.

I am talking about the opacity. Why does it make the entire panel transparent, along with the icons and the text ? Who would need the icons and the text to be transparent as well. However thanks a lot for the help, I now know how to make the background, only, transparent.
