I try to clean up the panel and probably i did it too good.!
Searched on the internet but nothing helped to restore the icon
I am running with xubuntu 20.04.3 LTS , xfce : 4.14

with the icon I mean the icon which give me the possibility to access different wifi connections

The network icon would sit in a tray applet. Make sure you have either the Notification Area or the Status Tray plugin added to the panel.

I have added Notication area and status tray added to the panel.

If the network manager applet is set to autostart, then it should show up there. Make sure you have the "network-manager-applet" installed and that "Network" is enabled in Settings Manager > Session and Startup > Application Autostart. Then log out and back in again, or run "nm-applet".
