How to add new entries in the Settings Manager?

I'd like to add more applications in the group but I am unaware how. Just for usability reasons.

Re: How to add new entries in the Settings Manager?

In the application's .desktop file, on the Categories line, you need to add two entries:
- "X-XFCE-SettingsDialog;" - to have it display in the settings dialog
- and one of:
   - "X-XFCE-PersonalSettings;" - personal section
   - "X-XFCE-HardwareSettings;" - hardware section
   - "X-XFCE-SystemSettings;" - system section
   - note: if you don't add this, it will show up in the other section

You can always look at existing Settings Manager application's .desktop files in /usr/share/applications to see how its done.
