sd card issue

I have 2 micro sd cards when I insert one it mounts. Then I unmount & eject it. No problem. But if I then insert another sd card it won't mount every time until I reboot. Is there a command line fix for this to avoid having to reboot? I am running xubuntu 20.04.

Try running the following in a terminal window:

sudo journalctl -f

...then try both cards again. Post back the output from the terminal.

Also, what does the following return:

ps -ef | grep -i thunar

Thanks. Today it isn't happening but it does regularly. I will post back next time it happens and I try your commands.
