Hello out there.

I wish to say hello to anyone who may be listening. It's not that I need to be heard, just want to be friendly. Anyway, I am new to the whole GNU Linux or whatever it may be called in the vernacular. I mostly just want to have a better understanding of computers and more about their workings, etc. and this seems like a reasonably safe way to start. Have a great day.
