Does Xfce require systemd?

Systemd is for Linux only, so I wonder, if Xfce can be used in other Unix-like operating systems nowadays. Do you miss something from Xfce experience, if you do not have systemd?

Re: Does Xfce require systemd?

No. Xfce can run quite well on BSD-based systems and non-systemd linux distros.
