[Solved] Thunar: Catfish: Path of index file

Hello,

Where can I find the index file of catfish?  (Path)

(I would like to exclude this file in my backup-programme.)

I think Catfish uses /var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db as default, so that's what you'd have to exclude.

If you open the "gear" menu, you'll see the option "Update Search Index", which will show the index location (and ask for confirmation/permission) on click.

Thank you for the hint. Yes, I have found it. It's /var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db
