Desktop freze when Thunar failed to copy/move files

Hi,

when thunar copies or moves large files or when thunar deletes files (also from trash) desktop is freezing. I can't start an application using the desktop icon. i also have a red warning icon instead of the trash icon. when i cancel the process thunar and all processes controlled by thunar (desktop, panel) are not usable until i restart the system.

The problem occurs in xubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 with xfce 4.14, 4.15.4 and xfce 4.16.

Is there a process in background that crashes when thunar crashed? Can i solve the problem without restarting the machine by killing the process or so?
