SOLVED: bring back menu in Thunar

Hi, I just registered so that I could say thank you to PaperNick for solving a problem that can drive a newbie like me nuts: I had somehow (now I know it was by accidentally pressing CTRL+M) made the menu disappear from Thunar, and I could see no way to get it back. Uninstalling it proved to be quite difficult, too, I finally had to look up this:
sudo apt-get remove thunar

After reinstalling Thunar, the menu bar still did not show up, until I read PaperNick's answer to the same problem: pressing CTRL+M shows the menu again. That thread is now closed, so my thanks to PaperNick from here.
