Mic sound comes out cracking

Hi, I'm having some problems with my PC running Xubuntu 18.04. Since the last couple of weeks I've been having problems with the sond of my microphone. Both the headset mic and the USB cam one have the same behaviour, the sound just comes out all cracky. I assume it is some sort of incompatibility between Xubuntu and the onboard sound card (the PC is dual boot and it works perfectly fine in W10). Firstly, it wouldn't even recognize the mic, I made a 100 tests with different tips from the ubuntu forums until I managed to get the PC to recognize there was a microphone plugged in, but with the noisy outcome. This happens with every voice recording and conferencing/calling app I've used.
I din't know wether I should just get a new motherboard or there is something else I can do to recover my input sound.

Re: Mic sound comes out cracking

This isn't an Xfce issue, but I might be able to help with it.

The first thing I'd try is changing load-module module-udev-detect to load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0 in /etc/pulse/default.pa
