Is it possible to have drag and drop animation on desktop?

When i drag and drop multiple icons i cannot determine where they will be dropping. Is there a way to have some sort of animation to see the outcome beforehand?
Edit: I just realised this is badly worded. What i mean is just moving multiple desktop items, on the desktop itself not dropping from other applications. Though, that would be nice as well.

I guess you mean like a shadow of where the icon will be placed. I've never seen that with xfdesktop and don't believe its currently possible.
