hello and a question

Hello there! Have used XFCE some, but prefer command line. Question is: Can xfburn be used on a headless machine without a gui. Trying to burn iso.
Thanks!

Re: hello and a question

Hello and welcome, sorry for the late reply!

I think that although xfburn has a command line interface, it is used only to invoke the GUI (that's from reading the man page, I don't have it installed).

You'd be better served, in my opinion, by using native CLI apps, like bashburn, burn or cdw. They're in most default repos.

Re: hello and a question

Huh. Of those three, only cdw is in the default Debian 10 repos.

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.
