how to make nvidia work with xfce?

i tryed bumblebee but it was hard for me to do it or maybe the tutorials i tryed was old and thats for was messing everything but for now i did fresh installed my kali linux and did these steps:
https://www.kali.org/docs/general-use/i … ali-linux/

now what do i have to do? on gnome desktop this tutorial helps me to use the nvidia drivers with gnome desktop directly:
https://forums.kali.org/showthread.php? … mus-laptop

but if i do the same steps here after setting up the xorg.conf file mentioned on my last pasted link i get black screen without mouse or nothing ...

no one is talking about that how to make nvidia drivers work with xfce but i dont know... somewhere must have any tutorial for it... i think there is extra steps for xfce... i did tryed to remove displays.xml file but result is same...

here i see for many desktop managers the extra things i have to do but not xfce:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NV … y_Managers

please help me someone thanks!

Re: how to make nvidia work with xfce?

You may not be finding a tutorial strictly for XFCE because XFCE4 is a Desktop Environment and not an Operating System. I agree with your point, though, that knowing what to do within that D.E. to get the results you want is important and a tutorial would help with that.
I am assuming you are using Kali Linux and I can assume from what you have posted that you have a failed drivers issue.
I am no expert... But if this was my machine, I would try checking my kernel version, first.
If you were using the Xorg graphics drivers, I would take a different approach.
But for Nividia, please say whether you can boot into ty or grub.
If so, please use

uname -r

in terminal prompt and relay the kernel version you are running.
Please tell which Nivida Drivers you installed.
You may try Upgrading your kernel which you can do with Ukuu or Synaptic or with terminal.
