icons with drop down menu remain highlighted...

...on dark panel until hovering with the mouse over them.
it's an eyecatcher. how to disable this behavior?

There is/was a bug report for this. It has been fixed in the git tree (https://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-panel/c … 9b9b70a270). Now we wait for the next release of xfce4-panel - or you built it yourself.
