Right click produce a scrolling menu, how to stop
If I right click on a folder, the menu that appears has up & down scroll arrows, how do I get rid of the stupid scroll feature and return to fixed menu size please.

Looks like a GTK bug. See: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/issues/1843.
