Hi,
This message follow this one to prevent gui user to shutdown or reboot when another user is logged in.
This does not work anymore in xfce but is ok in lightdm.
Linux debian-linux 4.19.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.28-2 (2019-03-15) x86_64 GNU/Linux
xfce4 4.12.5
I find that if I remove xfce4-goodies, this functionality come back.
Only buttons in Logout window are not updated.
In /var/log/dpkg.log, I get :
2019-01-08 20:16:34 upgrade xfce4-goodies:amd64 4.12.5 4.12.6
It's seems to me it's a bug but I don't known if this come from xfce or from debian ?
Any idea ?
Thanks.

Hi,
There is nothing to do with xfce4-goodies.
If I reinstall xfce4-goodies, it's always the same.
What I find but I don't know where this come from.
The Shutdown and Restart buttons are never updated in xfce.
The Shutdown and Restart buttons are always updated in lightdm.
If I am connected from a console (Ctrl-Alt-F(1..6)) ,I can't reboot or shutdown xfce session only if I am root in the tty.
If I am connected from ssh (not authorized for root in sshd.conf), I can reboot or shutdown in xfce.
So I must investigate more, that's why I close this topic but something goes wrong.
Thanks.
