Reinstalled the latest manjaro 18.0 XFCE (fully updated) and found out that the gtk3-headerbar is changed. The CSD removed? The titlebuttons have moved-up to a seperate titlebar?
Is this normal? Does it stay this way?
I'm a themer, therefore I need to adjust the headerbar properties

Hello and welcome.
Have a read through this manjaro forum thread where it discusses this issue. It appears that they may be using a "gtk3-classic" package in lieu of the regular gtk3 to remove the CSD header bars.

Yes, I've adressed the issue there too. It is indeed the gtk3-classic package the manjaro now installs by default.
Which is a major nuisance because the original headerbar is now reduced to a role of toolbar, but the size (36 to 40px ) of it is to big for a regular toolbar...
