XFCE - Toolbar Appearance Settings have no effect

Hello everyone,

currently the items (opened apps/windows) in my toolbar are displayed as "Icon + Text".
In the "XFCE Settings -> Appearance -> Settings -> Toolbar Style" I selected to display an icon only.

How ever, no matter which option I choose, it has no effect. It will always be "Icon + Text".
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

@edit: I am on Archlinux, if it matters.

Which apps are you seeing this in? Are they GTK2 apps? Most likely that functionality supports a certain subset of GTK2 apps.
