Other than increasing the border size, is there any way to increase window border drag/resize grips?

Just use alt+ right click to drag and resize.

Thanks, I do know about that workaround. I was wondering about other options.

Here's a good thread about that, from 2015: https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=6113

Personally, I have much more luck resizing from the top right or top left of the window. There seems to be more of a grip there (or at least there is with the Greybird theme).

Way too blue for me but well done.
I prefer dark themes and am using https://www.xfce-look.org/p/1013615/ which says it is for GTK 3.18 but is working fine on GTK 3.22. I find resizing works well with it but that wasn't an issue for me as I'm happy to use the keyboard shortcut.

It inherits the gtk color scheme. It's not always blue
