Thunar opens new windows full screen

I recently did a dist-upgrade to Xubuntu 18.04. All is well, except that now Thunar opens new windows full screen. (Yes, I turned off the maximize windows when dragged to the top of the screen.) I hate running windows full screen. Thunar never used to open new windows full screen in Xubuntu 16.04. I found the file ~/.config/Thunar/thunarrc, but I'm not sure that is where I can change the behavior. I don't understand most of the lines in the file. Could someone kindly give me some clues?

Re: Thunar opens new windows full screen

Try this - make sure that you have only one Thunar instance open, change the size of its window to a desired size, click RMB on any folder and choose "Open in new window", close both windows, and then open Thunar again. It should remember its previous size.
