Hi.
This is my first post. I just need clarification where the notification is running since it's not showing on my panel.
Info:
OnePlus Phone, Rom=LinegeOS 14.1 Marshmallow. Armv-71.
Using Debian Linux Nethunter V3.15.
Connect to Linux Android using VNC Viewer - Remote V3.3.1 localhost.
Xfc4 V4.12. Root user.
Query:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -lv | grep systray.
Result: /plugins/plugin-6 systray
Have customize settings stored by xfconf.
I cannot see notification icon on Panel One.
When I attempt to add notification it is grayed out.
Reading previous posts, this is not a bug. I should have a notification instance currently running. There is 1 existing panel and 4 work-spaces, I'm using only workspace1. No Notification icon exist as a stand-alone on a panel.
There exist a notification option from the installation of Kali Nethunter chroot Mgr: I select Applications(from the panel), drill-down to settings, then notification.
Is this considered the running Instance Notification?
If Yes, can notification be moved out from the Application window to it's own panel? If this is not the instance, where else should I check?
Also I would like to install Network-Manager service and add the nm-applet to the Notification trey. Do you know how I can accomplish this?
Although my device is Android using Xfce, similar (Q's) were asked using desktop. Thanks. TC.
