Thunar - bug or feature?

It so happens Thunar will not overwrite files owned by me if the parent directory is not owned by me. I have to drop to CLI to copy/overwrite the file. Annoying. Shall I open a bug?

I do not see how that could possibly be considered to be a feature, and suggest you file a bug report on Xfce's Bugzilla web page.
