Is there a way to allow certain unauthenticated PPAs?

Is there a way to allow certain unauthenticated PPAs?     Starting Jan 2017 some PPAs that still use SHA1 or have issues trying to configure the PPAs to the newer encryption may cause issues with all PPAs & even some repositories.

Yes,  I am aware some people frown on PPAs.     I see the PPAs as a good thing but that is my opinion.

Yes found one way but I am not sure it will work after Jan 1st,  2017 because apt still shows the PPA uses weak digest algorithm (SHA1).

Here is what I did in my sources.list

 deb [trusted=yes] http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/ubuntuzilla/mozilla/apt all main
