Multiple Notification Areas?

I have a three-monitor setup, and after adding a small panel to each monitor with the date and time, I was trying to add a secondary notification area on the middle monitor. However, when I try to add the notification area to that monitor's panel, the panel item is greyed-out, and I'm unable to add it. Is it not possible to have more than one notification area on separate panels? Or is this an issue I should be concerned about?

(Using Antergos Linux.)

Hello and welcome.

You can only have one notification area active at any time. This is by design.
