remove screen saving and password

Hi,
Since xubuntu 16.04 I was unable to remove black screen after about 10 minutes, and I had to type my password each time.
Moreover I lost mouse cursor, and I had to ctr+alt+f1 -> ctrl+alt+f7 to recover the cursor.

When I disabled the light locker screen saving, it didn't remember the setting at next reboot

The only solution was to apt-get uninstall light-locker

Re: remove screen saving and password

Xfce doesn't include a locking programming, so this should probably be directed towards your distro support boards.

That being said, I've read about this issue in a number of places and this bug report seems to be related to what you are experiencing. If you have an intel video card, try changing the accel method to UXA as per the workaround in comment #174.

If this doesn't work, you might get more traction in the Ubuntu Forums or AskUbuntu.
