XFCE stands for...

As you all know XFCE used to stand for: "XForms Common Environment".
Nowdays as XFCE no longer uses XForms that is no longer relevant, so I came up with some suggestions for new names.
"*niX Force Capital Environment"
"*niX Force Control Environment"
"X-Force Common Environment"
"Xtra Furious Capital Environment"
"X-Face Common Environment"
"X11 Force Control Environment"
"X11 Finder Control Environment"

and as a bad joke:
--snip--

I have spoken.

ToZ: yes it was a bad joke, and inappropriate.

Neither is it correct. Xfce is no longer an acronym for anything - therefore, it is properly written/typed as Xfce (not XFCE).

In terms of abbreviations, Xfce doesn't "stand for" anything. That is the developer's own stance, and as it is their DE, their decision will always be the correct one. The end, lol.
