Re: how can i upgrade my distro

If you are using Debian Stable (Jessie), you can enable our repo just for the upgrade to 4.12, then disable our repo again.

deb http://main.mepis-deb.org/mx/repo/ mx15 main non-free

To be on the safe side, you might want to save your Home folder somewhere, though our users have had no problems with the upgrade over the last year.

I seem to remember that a second possibility has been posted so you might search the Forum.

BTW: your current distro is not "4.10, distributed by Debian." Xfce is your Dekstop Environment, Debian (or a derivative) is your distro.

MX-23 (based on Debian Stable) with our flagship Xfce 4.18.
