Fixing size and place of windows.

Hello
I am actually coming from Kubuntu, which has a huge way to personalise your OS. However, for me it is time to go, as Plasma 5 turns out to become a long-term-A-version with several important features deleted. Multiple desktops with different wallpapers, etc.

My present question is: how can I fix a window in a certain size and then into a certain position on a defined Desktop. Is there a way to do this?

Yup: devilspie. You might want to look at gdevilspie, a handy GUI that makes things easier to set up.
