Xfce is getting ported to GTK3 for the next version 4.14. I have not seen anything about a QT port of Xfce.

You might want to have a look at LXQT, its similar to Xfce and is based on QT.

Interesting.

XFCE famous because it very fast and light on resources (works nice in my laptop with 1g of ram).
GTK3 known as heavy...

So you will raise up minimal system requirements for 4.14?
