In case you're wondering, https://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce4-d … 31571.html:
The main server died on reboot due to a failing RAID disk (probably).
The server is back online; it looks like the disk has been replaced
and the raid is restoring itself.
The outage affected xfce.org, bugzilla, the mailing lists and the forum.

I think it was a couple of days ago that I noticed that the forum was down, and I couldn't ping xfce.org, but I never saw any news stories or reports of it anywhere online. Made me wonder what was going on, and why no one else seemed to notice.

There was a tweet made from @xfceofficial about the outage but you would have had to have been following the account to get it.

Since there does not appear to be a post for the Xfce 4.12 release at this time, I am going to post this here. Moderators, please move this if needed.
Thank you to whoever suggested and worked on the intelligent panel hiding and panel switch features!! I was previously using scripts and copies of configuration files to accomplish that functionality, but I much appreciate those elements being native. My most recent re-install was much easier thank to your efforts.
