Hi all,
I just installed XFCE as a replacement of the new GNOME *thing* under Ubuntu 12.04, so I'm discovering
this simple and robust WM.
I use a lot of terms on my desktop, particularly for debugging programs with many many lines dumped
in the terminal (stderr Hé!). Up to now I was using the zooming-out feature in the gnome-terminal
thanks to some special buttons in the top menu bar. This allowed me, on demand, to display more lines (with tiny font of course)
in a taller terminal (resizing the Y axis... a kind of "portrait" terminal) .
I cannot find such a feature in the xfce term and could not found
something about it in the man page, wiki and forum. Maybe this is not possible at all or I miss something very simple
(CTRLALT/SHIFT/MAGIC/+ ??? :-) ).
My system: Linux 3.2.0-31-generic SMP x86_64
Ubuntu 12.04 -- XFCE 4.8.3 (via xubuntu-desktop 2.152)
thanks for help, hints or whatever.
cheers
