Right now I'm using xubuntu 10.04, and looking forward to upgrading to 12.04 next Spring. My question is: can the toolbar/launcher at the bottom of Xfce on 11.04 xubuntu, and I'm guessing future versions, be removed? I've tried xubuntu 11.04 with the bottom launcher and haven't quite made up my mind about it. Like Unity's launcher it seems to get in the way. Now that I've figured out how to add apps to the toolbar at the top screen in xubuntu 10.04 I really don't see any use for the bottom toolbar. So can it be removed and is it fairly easy to do so without borking the system?
Thanks!

Hi,
well, I've done it. It's quite easy. You can remove it in Panel->Panel Properties (I'm not quite sure, I'm using a localized version. Just start with a right mouse klick in the panel.

Thanks! I figured it could be done, just wasn't sure how difficult it would be or if it would mess anything else up.
Thanks again!
