menu problem when downgrading from 4.8 to 4.6

Hi,
I used xfce 4.6 on debian squeeze, then played with 4.8 and then turned back to 4.6
and now my xfce menu is intermixed that is all items seem to be presented but in the wrong order and those that
are supposed to be below the lowest separator (exit) and those that above the topmost (web browser etc) are intermixed with the application categories
Only settings category is in the right place.

I tried to remove .config/menus/xfce-application.menu then reinstall package containing /etc/xdg/menus/xfce-application.menu and copy it to .config/menus/
but it didn't help.

Does anybody have any ideas?
