I'm new to Xfce, just switched a few days ago. I'm really impressed and enjoy using it. To me, it seems to be a true blend of Fluxbox and Gnome, which is what I've been searching for for a while.

You have nice screenshots, systemx. Where do you get your wallpapers? Also, I'm curious to why you use Rox-filer over Thunar? Just personal preference?

I normally find them at http://www.deviantart.com/ and yes, it's personal preference and habit.

When using theme blue-carboon I get a 3d-ish app panel 
just the bare theme panels hidden

This is the picture I used for GRUB, Usplash and GDM

I used Startup Manager (sum) for this.

This is my standard-account, looks like a Mac

Some icons from iComity are used for the panel at the bottom

This is my dark-themed account

GTK-theme: Neutronium-Gtk2, icons: Tango-noir, xfwm: Neutronium-Xfwm4, mouse: red_neutral
The Window-border-transparency is on maximum, it's nice but not flashy

Nice desktop, but holy cow your Xorg is using 72% of the CPU resources!  Mine uses around 1 -1.5% --> http://webpages.charter.net/weibullguy/ … GNOME9.pngWhat kind of processor do you have?  The only software I've ever seen suck up that much of my system's resources is crappy software I've written myself.

Also, in the lower right hand corner you might want to get rid of the 80.86.294.14 in the icon name depending on what the file server is for.

Well, this cpu usage is due to some bug in audacious regarding xfce compositor.
As for the ftp, it is dead by now I suppose I updated the screenshot though, thanks.

I thought maybe you had an 8088 or something.   I try to look out for people inadvertently putting personal information up with their screenshots.  I've seen e-mail addresses and bank account #'s before!

I remade an old sepia tone theme of mine (using the new style that I write my gtkrc, like in the post above) , and remade the UbunutuStudio icons to match the sepia tones...plus I themed Swiftweasel and Thunderbird to match.
