Google Chrome show in folder not working with nemo

From downloads when i click show in folder it runs thunar instead of nemo.

xdg-mime query default inode/directory
nemo.desktop

Despite this Google Chrome and some other apps still keep opening stuff with thunar rather than my default file manager and even desktop manager: nemo.

Edit: Interesting, i have an exo-file-manager.desktop file in /usr/share/applications
When i open it from whisker menu it opens nemo but when i open it directly it runs thunar.
Exec=exo-open --launch FileManager %u
I tried editing this file to nemo %u
I tried editing thunar.desktop exec to run nemo, none works for chrome.
When i call

xdg-open .

it runs nemo as expected.

Edit2: Tested firefox and it's the same.

Edit: I found out the only way to get this is to remove thunar. When you remove thunar xfdesktop stops working, when xfdesktop stops working you lose the ability to set wallpapers and maybe even more, so i decided to keep thunar later on.
